About me
My name is Jacob Bayne, and I am an Event Specialist at the Cedar Rapids Public Library. The main focus of my job is to manage our reservable rooms across both branches. I have been working at the Cedar Rapids Public Library for three years, and my prior experience has been in the food and beverage industry. The customer service skills that I developed prior to my library work have been very impactful on how I interact with patrons and promote library use. I am currently earning my Library and Information Science degree from the University of Iowa.
