If you've ever had one of these thoughts, then this is the session for you! We'll talk about some of the myths of mentoring that may be holding you back from pursuing the experience. We'll also explore how a fruitful mentoring relationship can work without overburdening your schedule. You will walk away from this session with your own mentorship plan in hand, ready to uplift the next generation of Iowa librarians!
Attendees will learn how to deconstruct myths about mentorship, find mentors who align with their expertise (and schedule), and maintain a fruitful relationship with their future mentee.
